About Us
Almost 30 years ago, Marty opened the doors to his very own business: The Roofing Doctor. With roofing as its sole focus, the company quickly outgrew its name, and siding, additions, and remodeling were added to the list of services. This is when Best Construction was born. Along with the added services came the need for more team members, and Dan and Yuri joined the company. Showing dedication and growth, Dan and Yuri became partners in the late 1990s. Today, Best Construction consists of 15 construction professionals, and remodeling has proven to be the biggest arm of the business.
Throughout the years of growth and change, one thing has always remained consistent, and that’s our dedication to quality workmanship. At Best Construction, we stand behind our work, and we’re proud of our staff and projects. We treat our customers with respect and deeply enjoy the satisfaction of another job well done.

Marty Aman – Owner (1981 – Present)Since 1981, Marty has seen to it that his company runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, ensuring customers and employees are happy. From sales to scheduling, customer service to employee HR, Marty gets it all done, and done with integrity. At home, Marty has been married to his lovely wife Jean since 1984, and together they have 3 beautiful children – Emily, Marcy, and Melanie. In his free time, Marty enjoys boating, camping, family vacations to sunny destinations, and exercising. And if ever you’re to ask Marty, “How’s it going?”, you’ll likely hear his father’s favorite response: “Can’t complain.” |
Yuri Zdunek – Partner (1992 – Present)Back in the early 1950s, Yuri’s grandfather opened Adirondack Building Services, so it’s safe to say that construction has always been in his blood. He went on to get his own degree in Civil Engineering and now has 20+ years of construction experience under his belt. When he’s not working, Yuri loves spending time with his beautiful wife and young daughter. Together, they enjoy exploring the great outdoors – boating on Sodus Bay, camping in the Adirondacks, and traveling to the Caribbean. |
Dan Bogel – Partner (1991 – Present)Dan acts as project manager to all remodeling projects and foreman on all large projects at Best Construction. His approach? “I like to treat all customers as friends. Sometimes, on large projects, it’s almost like we become family. Clients often say they’re sad to see us go.” Outside of work, Dan is a true family man. He loves his wife Laura (married since 1988) and two teenagers Tori and Nate. He’s involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, enjoys playing guitar, singing, golfing, gardening, and making home improvements on his own home, which he built himself on what was once his wife’s grandfather’s farm. |
